No, not really........but we are very happy about Per's new job with Harry & David. They are a gourmet food & fresh fruit gift company established more than 70 years ago. Right here in our little valley they employ about 2600 people, with a max of 5000 during the holidays. Medford is the corporate headquarters, which is about 5 miles from our home. When we took their tour, we learned that all of their delicious fresh fruit is grown here in the valley, and watched as the busy bakers made their cakes, chocolates, and cookies (yummy free samples). And everything is hand-packed. It's pretty impressive to watch in action. Harry & David is a company who's business practices are environmentally responsible & sustainable. Per's glad to be connected with a company who's reputation is honest & ethical.Monday, November 30, 2009
