Well, this is it for decorations this year.....everything else is in our "POD" in California. That huge festive bowl is more than a dozen Comice pears from a Harry & David orchard right near our house. While walking one afternoon, we saw random pears left on the trees after the harvest. On closer evaluation, there were some beautiful 1 pounders, just left there to rot. We couldn't let that happen so...we stuffed our pockets, found lots of good recipes, and have been eating these delicious pears for almost every meal.Thursday, December 3, 2009
